Behringer Releases Further Details On the New Rhythm Designer RD-8
The much anticipated 808 Clone is finally on its way to Australia
Teased since the turn of the year, Behringer has finally revealed that their version of Roland’s TR-808 drum machine will arrive to our shores mid-Spring. First leaked in 2017 along with a string of other classic synth and drum machines the RD-8 features many of the features with a modern twist to bring it into the 21st century.
Running analog circuitry as opposed to intricate software emulation, the RD-8 is true to sound to the original drum machine. Behringer has made sensible contributions to the Rd-8 such as the new bass controls (bass drum tuning, hi hat tone), a 64 step sequencer, swing flam, note repeat, random/probability sequencing and effects (compressor/transisent shaper and LP/HP resonant filter).
The Behringer RD-8 is expected to land in October 2019.
