AUSTRALIS PRODUCT WARRANTY
The warranty and conditions of such warranties on products that Australis Music Group (AMG) distributes are different on a brand-by-brand basis. The basic warranty periods are outlined below next to each brand; however, it should be noted that more detailed information should be researched and can be provided if required.
The Customer agrees that these Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be construed according to the laws of the Country as the Supplier may in its sole discretion determine. Proceedings may be instituted in such Country as the Supplier may in its sole discretion determine. Failing such determination, the Customer consents to any proceedings being instituted and heard by any appropriate Court sitting in the State of New South Wales applying the laws of the State of New South Wales.
A warranty is not a service contract, and it does not constitute maintenance, cleaning, or periodic check-ups on equipment. During the periods specified below Australis Music will replace defective parts at its expense with new or refurbished parts and will absorb all expenses for warranty service and repair labour by reason of defects in material or workmanship.
The warranty is subject to the product having been used under normal operating conditions, and to products that have not been electronically or mechanically altered in any way. Warranty does not cover; damage or failure resulting from; faulty or improper installation, act of nature, abuse, use on incorrect voltage, alteration, accident, misuse, negligence, or maladjustment including exposure to water. Warranty will also not apply to general wear and tear due to usage.
PROCESS FOR YOU AS AN END CUSTOMER TO MAKE A CLAIM UNDER WARRANTY
In the event your instrument or audio product develops a defect within the Warranty Period, you should notify the authorised dealer you purchased the instrument from and, upon the authorised dealer’s approval, return the instrument to that store so that the authorised dealer may determine whether your claim under this Warranty is valid.
It is required that you take your instrument or audio product into the authorised dealer to show or demonstrate the problem to seek the advice of your authorised dealer. You will need to present your proof of purchase or sales receipt, to demonstrate that you are the original purchaser.
*** IMPORTANT: As an Australis Reseller or Installer it is important to acknowledge that you have tested or been witness to testing of the unit. No-fault-found items may be subject to HANDLING & SHIPPING CHARGES OF $70. ***
If necessary, the authorised dealer will contact AMG for information and an authorisation to return the instrument to AMG for assessment (Service Order/Repair Request Authorisation).
No product may be returned to AMG under the Manufacturer’s Warranty without such prior Return Authorisation. Only Authorised Service Centres may perform service under this Manufacturer's Warranty. Any service performed by unauthorised persons will void this Manufacturer's Warranty. AMG disclaims liability for defects or damage caused by services performed by unauthorised persons or non-warranty service not performed by AMG or an Authorised Service Centre.
Following inspection of the product upon its arrival, AMG or the Authorised Service Centre will advise you and/or your authorised dealer of the approximate date of completion. The repaired instrument or part will be returned to you or your dealer. The cost of shipping and any other related costs will be at the Owner’s expense.
PROCESS TO RETURN OF GOODS FROM RESELLERS OR INSTALLERS
The Supplier may at its absolute discretion accept returned stock and provide a credit to the Customer, subject to the following. A Return Request form should be completed to get an authorised RA number to process in the following situations:
- Faulty product: Claims for stringed instruments will be considered if lodged within 14 days of delivery; If more than 14 days have passed, please complete an SV Repair Request.
If DOA for a Professional Audio product – please complete an RA form at any time.
- Transit damage claims will only be considered if lodged within 7 days of receipt of goods for dealers with the abovementioned insurance cover;
If more than 7 days have passed, please complete an SV Repair Request. Please include photos if making a claim for transit damage or cosmetic damage.
- Short shipment claims will only be considered if lodged within 7 days of receipt of goods for dealers with the abovementioned insurance cover.
- For Stock returned (solely at the discretion of Australis Music Group), after 30 days may be subject to 10% restocking fee; and (e) Stock returned after 60 days may be subject to 20% restocking fee.

The warranty on products will only be valid if the product was purchased in Australia through an authorised partner of Australis Music. It is the owner's responsibility to establish the date and place of purchase by acceptable evidence, at the time service is sought.
MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES BY BRAND:
ALPINE HEARING PROTECTION
The Standard Consumer Limited Warranty for Alpine Hearing Protection Earplugs is one (1) year from the original date of retail purchase.
AQUARIAN DRUMHEADS
Being an item that is subject to wear during normal use, there is no warranty on Aquarian Drumhead products, unless the item exhibits a manufacturing defect for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase through an Authorized Australian Aquarian Dealer. A defective item is one that is inoperable but has no apparent damage. We accept no responsibility for user-initiated damage.
ARMOUR
The Standard Consumer Limited Warranty for Armour Products is three (3) years from the original date of retail purchase.
ASHTON
The Standard Consumer Limited Warranty for Ashton products is one (1) year from the original date of retail purchase.

ASTON MICROPHONES
The Limited Warranty across all Aston Microphone products is 3 Years from the original date of retail purchase. The Limited Warranty applies for products purchased in Australia through an approved Aston Microphone dealer.
MUSIC Tribe and Australis Music Group warrants the mechanical and electronic components of any Aston Microphone product to be free of defects in material and workmanship if used under normal operating conditions for 3 Years, from the original date of retail purchase. In the event that a replacement of the entire product is issued, this Limited Warranty shall apply to the replacement product for the remaining warranty period of the product replaced. The Limited Warranty does not cover consumable parts.
This Limited Warranty is extended exclusively to the original buyer (customer of Authorised Reseller) and is not transferable to anyone who may subsequently purchase the product. No other person (distributor, dealer, fulfiller, retailer, etc.) shall be entitled to give any warranty promise on behalf of Music Tribe or Australis Music Group.
BEALE
The Standard Consumer Limited Warranty for Beale Acoustic Pianos warrants that it will replace any part found to be defective (in materials or workmanship) within 10 years of the original date of retail purchase. Beale Piano’s authorised dealers will underwrite the labour costs associated with such parts replacements for a period of 10 years from the date of original purchase.
This warranty only extends to the original purchaser of the Beale piano and the serial numbers that relate to such purchase. This warranty shall not apply to Beale products which have been subject to alteration, misuse, accident, neglect (such as extremes of temperature and/or moisture) or wear resulting from normal usage. If the Beale piano must be returned by the dealer to Australis Music Group for repair, transportation charges to and from Beale distributors shall be borne by the owner.

The Standard Consumer Limited Warranty for Beale Digital Pianos, Brass and Woodwind products is three (3) years from the original date of retail purchase.
BEHRINGER
MUSIC Tribe and Australis Music Group warrants the mechanical and electronic components of your Behringer Product in Australia to be free of defects in material and workmanship if used under normal operating conditions for a period of three (3) years from the original date of retail purchase.
MUSIC Tribe and Australis Music Group asks that you also retain your purchase receipt. This is the proof of your date of purchase from which the applicable Limited Warranty period shall begin to run. Music Tribe additionally asks that you register your Behringer product online within ninety (90) calendar days of retail purchase, to assist in any future warranty claims. Extended Warranty
To qualify for the extended warranty, you must register your new MUSIC Tribe equipment within ninety (90) calendar days from the date of purchase. Warranty Transferability
This Limited Warranty is extended exclusively to the original buyer (customer of Authorised Reseller) and is not transferable to anyone who may subsequently purchase the product. No other person (distributor, dealer, fulfiller, retailer, etc.) shall be entitled to give any warranty promise on behalf of Music Tribe.

BUGERA
MUSIC Tribe and Australis Music Group warrants the mechanical and electronic components of your Bugera product to be free of defects in material and workmanship if used under normal operating conditions for a period of three (3) years from the original date of retail purchase.
In the event that a replacement of the entire product is issued, this Limited Warranty shall apply to the replacement product for the remaining warranty period of the product replaced.
The Standard Consumer Limited Warranty does not cover consumable parts, such as, but not limited to fuses, batteries, cables, valves, guitar strings etc.
Warranty transferability
This Limited Warranty is extended exclusively to the original buyer (customer of Authorised Reseller) and is not transferable to anyone who may subsequently purchase the product. No other person (distributor, dealer, fulfiller, retailer, etc.) shall be entitled to give any warranty promise on behalf of Music Tribe.
CLOCKAUDIO
Clockaudio and Australis Music Group warrants its products against defects of material and workmanship under normal usage for the period of one (1) year from the original date of retail purchase.
EPIPHONE
The Standard Consumer Limited Warranty for Epiphone Products is one (1) year from the original date of retail purchase.

GATOR CASES
Moving parts (such as zippers, latches, hinges, handles and wheels) are covered under the Standard Consumer Limited Warranty for one (1) year from the original date of retail purchase. Electronics are covered for up to one (1) year from the original date of retail purchase. Stands and other Gator products are covered for up to one (1) year from the original date of retail purchase.
This Manufacturer’s Warranty does NOT cover:
The Gator Cases warranty coverage is limited to manufacturing defects and does not cover any damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, water, transport damage, or general wear and tear. Gator Cases is also not responsible for any items housed within our cases.
The Gator Cases warranty does not cover damage caused by airline or freight company mishandling. Should the airlines or another carrier damage your product, a claim should immediately be filed with the carrier.
The Gator Cases warranty will be void if any of the below are true:
- Any improper or incorrectly performed maintenance or repairs are performed by a non-Gator or Australis Music approved Service Centre
- Any Gator Case/Frameworks products are used in a rental capacity
- The product has been discontinued and the one (1) year warranty term has expired
- The product was purchased second hand i.e. you are not the original buyer
Please note that after 10 years all claims related to our GPR series are now time expired – effective 31st December 2018.
GHS STRINGS
As a consumable item there is no warranty on GHS products unless the item is defective. A defective item is one that is inoperable but has no apparent damage. We accept no responsibility for user-initiated damage.
GIBSON
Under the Manufacturer’s Warranty, your new Gibson instrument is warranted to be free from defects in materials, manufacturing and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date and subject to the limitations contained in this Warranty (Warranty Period).
Note: As your Gibson was purchased outside the U.S.A., Gibson Gold Warranty is not applicable.
If at any time within the Warranty Period your Gibson instrument malfunctions as a result of faulty materials, manufacturing or workmanship, Australis Music Group will, at its option, repair the defect(s), replace the instrument or refund the purchase price.
AMG reserves the right to use materials regularly utilised at the time of repair in the event that original materials are no longer available. If replacement of your instrument is deemed appropriate by our staff, AMG will replace the instrument with one of the same or, if replacement of the same instrument is not available, an instrument of the most similar style of a value not in excess of the original purchase price of your instrument. When an instrument or component of an instrument is replaced under this Manufacturer's Warranty, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes the property of AMG.
This Manufacturer's Warranty covers the cost of both labour and materials on any repair or replacement deemed necessary by our Service Department for the duration of the Warranty Period.
This Manufacturer’s Warranty is extended to the original retail purchaser only and may not be transferred or assigned to subsequent owners. In order to validate your warranty your proof of purchase or sales receipt must accompany all requests for warranty coverage.
This Manufacturer’s Warranty does NOT cover:
- Any instrument that has been altered or modified in any way or upon which the serial number has been tampered with or altered.
- Any instrument whose warranty card has been altered or upon which false information has been given.
- Any instrument that has been damaged due to misuse, negligence, accident, or improper operation.
- The subjective issue of tonal characteristics of an instrument as a result of manufacture from wood
- Shipping damages of any kind.
- Any instrument that has been subjected to inappropriate levels of humidity or temperature
- Normal wear and tear (i.e., worn frets, worn machine heads, worn plating, string replacement, scratched pickguards, or damages to or discoloration of the instrument finish for any reason).
- Any instrument that has been purchased from an unauthorized dealer, or upon which unauthorized repair or service has been performed.
- Any factory installed electronics after expiry of the Warranty Period
- Cracking, discoloration or damage of any sort to the finish or plating for any reason.
- Damage to finishes or cracks, splitting or warpage of wood due to changes in temperature or humidity, exposure to or contact with sun, fire, moisture, body salts or acids of perspiration, any other chemicals or non-Gibson approved polishes;
- Aniline dye ‘bleed’ into binding and other parts of the instrument causing discolouration as this is a normal function of the product and is considered a characteristic not a flaw.
- The Manufacturer’s Warranty does not ensure the playability of an instrument whose "action" is lower than the standard "action" as defined by the manufacturer’s specifications.
IBANEZ
Ibanez Electric Guitars and Basses are warranted by Hoshino Gaki and Australis Music Group. The Standard Consumer Limited Warranty is a one (1) year limited warranty on Ibanez products from the original date of retail purchase.
Warranty Transferability
This Warranty is given only to the original purchaser of this Instrument. Australis will repair or replace any part or parts of the Instrument which may prove defective under normal use and service during the one(1) year Warranty Time Period stated above (which Australis’ examination shall disclose to its satisfaction to be thus defective. This Warranty does not apply unless you provide a copy of your original sales receipt.
This Manufacturer’s Warranty does NOT cover:
Expendable maintenance items including, but not limited to; strings, tuning machines or scratched pickguards, normal fret wear, plating on metal parts, cracking or other damage to the finish, any damage from accessory use (e.g. synthetic straps), tonal characteristics (tone is a subjective matter and is not warranted), or any instrument or item purchased from any source other than an authorised Australis Music Group Ibanez dealer in Australia.
K-ARRAY
K-Array loudspeaker enclosures, transducers and power amplifiers are warranted by K-Array and Australis Music Group against defects of material and workmanship under normal usage for the period of five (5) years from the original date of retail purchase if powered by amplifiers manufactured by K-array.
*Use of other amplifier brands will void K-array's transducer warranty.
K-GEAR
K-Gear loudspeaker enclosures, transducers and power amplifiers are warranted by K-Gear and Australis Music Group against defects of material and workmanship under normal usage for the period of two (2) years from the original date of retail purchase.

KRAMER GUITARS
The Standard Consumer Limited Warranty for Kramer Products is one (1) year from the original date of retail purchase.

The Standard Consumer Limited Warranty for Kurzweil Products is two (2) years from the original date of retail purchase.
The extended Standard Consumer Limited Warranty of three (3) years is applicable on the following Kurzweil models: PC3K, PC3A, FORTE Series (FORTE, FORTE 7, FORTE SE), Andante CUP Series (CUP 110, CUP 120, CUP2 and CUP2A) and the CGP220W.
LAB.GRUPPEN
The Limited Warranty across all Lab.Gruppen products is 5 Years from the original date of retail purchase
All Lab.Gruppen products purchased between 1st September 2014 and 31st July 2022 are covered by a 10 year limited warranty.
The Limited Warranty applies for products purchased in Australia only.

ORANGE AMPS
Orange Music Electronic Company Limited (OMEC Ltd.) and Australis Music Group warrants that Orange Products purchased through an Authorised Dealer will be free from defects in parts and workmanship for an initial period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.
This initial one (1) year Warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. This Warranty shall be applicable when the original purchaser presents the Product along with the original sales receipt and/or proof of purchase to the AMG Authorised Dealer from whom the Product was purchased in Australia.
ROCKTRON
The Standard Consumer Limited Warranty for Rocktron Products is one (1) year from the original date of retail purchase.
SABIAN
The Standard Consumer Limited Warranty on Sabian products is outlined per Product Series below. The Limited Warranty is based on the original date of retail purchase and covers defects in workmanship and materials:
- All Sabian B8X, B8 Pro, XSR, AA, AAX, HH, HHX, Artisan, Paragon Series cymabls and percussion instruments – two (2) years Limited Warranty
- Sabian SBr cymbals – one (1) year Limited Warranty
- Sabian Overture Triangles – one (1) year Limited Warranty
- Sabian SR2 cymbals – 90 days Limited Warranty
EXAMPLES OF DAMAGE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR WARRANTY REPLACEMENT
SEYMOUR DUNCAN
Seymour Duncan and Australis Music Group offers the original purchaser a one (1) year limited warranty on both labour and materials, starting from the original date of retail purchase.
We will repair or replace any product, at our option, if it fails due to faulty workmanship or materials during this period. This warranty does not apply if you’ve modified the unit or treated it unkindly, and we can assume no liability for any incidental or consequential damages which may result from use of this product. Pickups with excessive cosmetic damage cannot be returned.
Original equipment pickups sold as “stock” on any guitar or bass are not eligible for exchange or warranty repair.
Please contact the instrument manufacturer directly for further questions involving returns or repairs.
SMART ACOUSTIC
The Standard Consumer Limited Warranty for Smart Acoustic Products is three (3) years from the original date of retail purchase.
TAMA
The Limited Warranty provided on Tama products is for the following periods, measured in each case from the original date of retail purchase by the original consumer.
- Tama Drum Shells – five (5) year Limited Warranty
- Tama Drum Hardware including Accessory Hardware and Drum Shell Finishes – one (1) year Limited Warranty
- Tama Bass Drum Wood Hoops - 30 day Limited Warranty
Warranty Transferability
This Warranty is given only to the original purchaser of this Instrument. Australis will repair or replace any part or parts of the Instrument which may prove defective under normal use and service during the one(1) year Warranty Time Period stated above (which Australis’ examination shall disclose to its satisfaction to be thus defective. This Warranty does not apply unless you provide a copy of your original sales receipt.
This Manufacturer’s Warranty does NOT cover:
The Limited Warranty does not cover damage or defects due to alteration, misuse, abuse, normal wear and tear, or extremes of temperature or humidity, accidental or intentional damage, the repair or replacement of expendable maintenance items including but not limited to; heads, drumsticks, beaters, springs or straps, plating on metal parts, any damage from accessories (straps etc.), finishes on bass drum wood hoops, a drum or item of accessory hardware whose serial number has been defaced, sound characteristics (sound is a subjective matter and is not warranted), and any drum or item of accessory hardware purchased from any source other than an authorised Australis Music retailer in Australia.

TC ELECTRONIC & TC HELICON
TC Electronic and TC Helicon products are sold with a 3 Year Limited Warranty from date of retail purchase as standard in Australia through approved TC Electronic and TC Helicon dealers. The Limited Warranty applies for products purchased in Australia through an approved TC Electronic and/or TC Helicon dealer.
In the unfortunate event that your product becomes faulty please contact your place of purchase for support.
This Limited Warranty is extended exclusively to the original buyer (customer of Authorized Reseller) and is not transferable to anyone who may subsequently purchase the product. No other person (distributor, dealer, fulfiller, retailer, etc.) shall be entitled to give any warranty promise on behalf of Music Tribe or Australis Music Group.
Warranty limitations and exclusions
This Limited Warranty does not cover consumable parts, such as, but not limited to fuses, batteries, cables, bulb, guitar strings, etc.
Australis Music warrants the following items contained in or with the product to be free from defects in material and workmanship only for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of retail purchase.
- Accessories
- External power adaptors/PSUs
- Valves
- Cables
- Foot switches and remote controls
- Vacuum tubes
- Dust covers
Australis Music warrants the following items contained in or with the product to be free from defects in material and workmanship only for a period of one (1) year from date of retail purchase:
- Digital displays / LCDs
- Meters
- Switches / Sensors
- VRS / Potentiometers
- Loudspeaker drivers or diaphragm assemblies
- All faders including cross-faders and motorized faders
- Any mechanical component that may be affected by externally applied force
- Track balls and glide pads
- Loudspeaker grilles
- Road and flight cases
- Mixer remote controls and
- Loudspeaker interfaces
Drivers or diaphragm assemblies that have burnt voice coils as a result of over / under driving or due to a surge from a power amplifier shall be excluded from the warranty coverage.
This Limited Warranty does not cover products that have been electronically or mechanically modified in any way. If the product needs to be modified or adapted in order to comply with applicable local technical or safety standards in any country which is not the country from which the product was originally developed and manufactured, this modification / adaptation shall not be considered a defect in material or workmanship. This Limited Warranty does not cover any such modification / adaptation, regardless of whether it was carried out professionally or not. Australis Music shall not be held responsible for any cost resulting from such a modification / adaptation.
This Limited Warranty covers only the product hardware. It does not cover technical assistance for hardware or software usage. In addition, it does not cover any software products whether or not contained in the product package, unless expressly provided for in any enclosed software limited warranty.
This Limited Warranty shall not apply if the factory-applied serial number has been altered or removed from the product.
Any repair or opening of the unit carried out by unauthorized personnel (including the user) will void the Limited Warranty.
TASMAN GUITARS
The Standard Consumer Limited Warranty for Tasman Guitars is one (1) year from the original date of retail purchase.

This Manufacturer’s Warranty does NOT cover:

TOA ELECTRONICS
The Standard Consumer Limited Warranty on all TOA Electronic products is three (3) years year from the original date of retail purchase with the following exceptions:
Battery Products that have a 1 (one) year Limited Warranty (Models - WB20002, BP900CE, IR200BT)
- Enterprise products 5 Year Warranty
- Retail/creative products 3 Year Warranty
Two Notes hardware is guaranteed to be free from any functional, design or manufacturing defect and to comply with the technical instructions provided, for a period of two (2) years starting from the date of delivery of the Hardware.
Warranty shall not apply if any modifications or repairs have been undertaken, either directly or indirectly, by the Customer. Warranty shall not apply for any defects or damages caused by the reasonable wear and tear akin to normal usage, incorrect installation or configuration, improper usage or a failure to monitor, or negligence in the storing, transportation, loading, handling, or maintenance of the Hardware. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
