Own the Iconic Sound of the ’80s with the JN80 and the BMX brings back Classic Bit crushed Drum Sounds

Nothing shines quite like a diamond, and this new synth is a true gem for both vintage synth lovers and modern pop producers. You’ve asked, and Behringer delivered: introducing the Behringer JN-80, a fully analogue, 8-voice polyphonic synthesizer inspired by the legendary Juno 60. Behringer went to great lengths to faithfully recreate the iconic sound of the original Juno 60. At the heart of JN-80 is a meticulously engineered signal path built around genuine DCOs, a rich 24 dB low-pass VCF based on the original 3109 chip, and a classic VCA architecture, all working in harmony to deliver the unmistakable tone of a vintage classic. And yes, the lush BBD chorus is here too, just like you remember it.

JN-80 features eight fully polyphonic voices, with flexible poly, unison, and dual modes. Whether you’re sculpting massive basslines, soaring VCO leads, or shimmering analogue pads, JN-80 gives you the tools to bring your sound to life. Warm, wide, and full of character. 200 Presets Featuring 100 Premium Sounds from Ultimate Patches. Hear the authenticity and power of the JN-80 in JN-80 Ultimate Patches — Volume 3 located in banks A - E (these patches have a ¥ symbol at the end of each patch name). Not only that, but the additional premium set 200 JN-80 Ultimate Patches — Volumes 1+2 is now available at a very affordable price from ultimatepatches.com.

Drawing on the design principles of an iconic early‑1980s digital drum machine, the Behringer BMX provides access to the distinctive percussive character used across new wave, synth‑pop, and early hip‑hop production. Its sound engine employs period‑accurate 8‑ and 12‑bit sampling, capturing the characteristic crushed transients and gritty resolution associated with early digital technology. Complementing this architecture are analogue lowpass filters modelled after those found in the original hardware.

The unit is built around an 8‑voice framework, with each voice offering independent Level and Pan settings along with eight discrete analog outputs for flexible routing. A 64‑step sequencer supports advanced functions such as poly‑meter, step‑repeat, note‑repeat, real‑time triggering, track mute, and track solo. An integrated effects bus incorporates a Wave Designer and a dual‑mode analogue filter, both of which can be assigned per voice with automation available for filter cutoff.
